Today I continued to study the chub rivers. In the morning, having done all the necessary things, I went to a new river. An hour spent on it, but alas, it turned out to be too tough for me. The river is more full-flowing, and also, judging by the temperature of the water, more alpine. The rifts are very powerful, there are very few pits at the starting points. And I’m sure that there is definitely fish here, but with my preparation today it’s almost impossible to catch it. We need waders and a higher rise. As a result, by lunch I am leaving for the already checked rivulet.
Today, in order to somehow diversify fishing, I decide to pay more attention to wobblers. Throughout the day, I used the following kit: Maximus Egoist-Z 662UL fishing rod, Shimano 12’Rarenium 1000s reel with Varivas Nogales Dead or Alive Finesse Master PE4 0.3 cord. On the way to the first point from a distance I heard some ringing of bells, as it turned out, the first point today was occupied by the Burenki.
Soon he began to catch the second hole. It took a long time to sort through various “Pinocchio”, and to my surprise, I shot the most budget wobbler from the arsenal – Namazu WaterFly in red and black. Very small chubs were the first to rate it.
In the second hole, the same roll also worked. The first two casts under the opposite shore of the pit brought two chubs. Both grabbed immediately after splashing the bait.
Then I began to climb upstream, and suddenly along the way I found a coil sticking out of the ground. I had to make a small excavation, and as it turned out, it was someone else's complete set! In general, when catching a chub for the second time I come across a similar one. In the Urals, we also found someone else's whole spinning kit. Apparently, during the high water season, the current here is quite strong, and some anglers simply slip during the transition, and their sets fly out of their hands and go into the water. I really would not want to be in a similar situation.
Further, the places went wrong at all. Almost all the pits were occupied by tourists and vacationers. As a result, I managed to catch just a couple more chubs on the roll of Namazu Tatar.
Having met at the last point another bunch of vacationers, I decide to return in the opposite direction all along the same route. On the way again I catch holes. And at the next point, on the slow-slow wiring of the Namazu WaterFly, I get a very powerful blow, and here it is, the long-awaited and very peppy resistance. A couple of minutes of struggle and a more weighty chub on the shore. He grabbed almost at the very last point of the planned route.
I catch a couple of points in vain and decide to finish fishing. Definitely, the exit was not bad. And wobbler fishing can be used here. Yes, fewer chubs were caught today, and perhaps this is even good, the fact that there was a bonus was not enough. Still less tourists and vacationers, and in general everything would be wonderful. But the holiday season in the South ends, so that silence and calm will reign on the rivers soon.
