Stage 2 PAL – Sarapul, Kama River. Part 3

There were 3 days before the end of training before #PAL. Everything went well, as it seemed to us.

And then at lunch we get on a flock of asp … Close for 5 casts. All fish measured from 2 to 3 kg. Release time 12:30. The next exit at 14:30 and again such large specimens. Close again.

In the evening we sit as if on needles, on the one hand there are dots with pike and pike perch plus minus stable, on the other hand an asp. The asp is large, and to bring from 12 to 15 kg in 5 fish is very real. There are 2 days of training, we decide to follow the shaitan-roach.

And now the most interesting, we stood all day at the exit area. The first exit happened around 9 am large specimens, then clearly in an hour, then at 11:30, but already a trifle.

At 12:30, the largest, weighing about 3 kg, left, closed for 5 casts. Then the interval was 15 minutes to an hour and the last exit at 14:30.

Having sketched everything roughly comparing with the last day, we realized that the exit time coincided in time.

Moreover, the asp came out on different sites near a small island, either from the side of the channel, then from the side of the coast, and also to the cape below the island itself.

In the evening, we weigh everything again, and we understand that if everything coincides on the last day of training, then we play by asp.

Surprisingly, on the last day everything is as scheduled, at 9:00 departure in front of the island, we check the size, large. The frequency is about 15-20 minutes, the time output itself is about 5-10 minutes, enough to close.

Then at about 11:30. At 12:30, again, large at the island itself, and at 14:30 the average size.

All this time we stood in the area, made several casts to determine the size, since often only a small asp came out with a size of 25-30 cm.

I used to catch Namazu on Viba all the time, and my partner managed well on Renegade pilkers. At the same time, I didn’t even bother with spinning, although I also had spinning specially assembled for asp in a locker, I just changed the bait to SLRods Lex with Okuma Epixor Xt 40 reel, which I had just jigged and started to catch asp.

Now tell me, what would you do in this case? (if someone read to this place of course)

A day of silence and drawing lots, drawing up a plan, and preparing tackles, specially wound the new cord # 1.5 intech Exseed, since first we go to the snags so that the hooks can be torn and there is less chance of the fish leaving for the rubble.

We did not throw all the time at the asp, yet there is a certain exit time and you just need to arrive at this place on time. All this was unique enough far from the main fishing zone, and we still didn’t have time for the morning exit. According to this, they built a plan in the morning to catch their zone, and by 12 to rush to the asp. In theory, by this time we should already have 2-3 fish and we should have been quietly catching asp.

To be continued.

Fishing was a success !!!
