If everyone understands everything with the left Chinese stamping baits, manufactured using simplified technology, their manufacturers do not, by and large, pretend (they are sold at a ridiculous price, sometimes at a weight (mainly in different markets)), then in the issue world-famous spinners of legends is not so simple and unambiguous. It's no secret that most of the famous European companies also began to manufacture their products in Asian countries, most often in Malaysia and Taiwan. Of course, this does not come from a good life, in some cases only to survive in fierce competition, by lowering the price of a product or even by selling a patent for the production of spinners to another company. It would seem that everything is in the order of things, it should be so – the laws of the market.
Here, a very thin line is drawn between the desire, at all costs, to maintain the quality mark in its original form, and at the same time simplify production, and thereby reduce the price of the bait in order to attract the attention of the buyer, including the wholesale one, and to do this without compromising the quality of the spinners is almost impossible. Let us return directly to the concept of "catch". Everyone understands that subtlety is not an ephemeral thing. It depends on many factors and, first of all, on the quality of manufacturing and production technology. Many spinners of well-known companies made on the Asian continent seem to be like two drops of water similar to the analogue made fifteen to twenty years ago in Europe, but upon careful examination they have a sufficient number of minimal differences. There is only one explanation for this – the simplification of the process of making baits.
And here the most interesting part begins: individual baits made in Asia begin to yield inferior to European models in effectiveness, released ten, and sometimes twenty years ago, and this is about branded lures. When buying a normal average fisherman, in general, they don’t give a damn about the priority of the bait and the country of the manufacturer – the main thing is that she should catch fish. But the fact of the matter is that all comparisons are not in favor of the new “old” spinners, and all the more not in favor of the “leftist,” although I repeat this opinion is purely subjective, since it is to compare the advantages of spinners made in the middle and end of the past century with modern examples, few happened.
About the "leftist", or "Why do not catch"
Most of the “left” lures are repeatedly copied and thrown into the market in large quantities, at a price much lower than the original. Naturally, an experienced fisherman will always be able to distinguish Chinese lures from branded lures, but many of them are unsuitable only in practice, disappointed in the manufacturers. And then the question: “What does this come from?” Arises with renewed vigor. In luminous construction, there is a rule of the so-called "golden line", from which it is impossible to depart from under any circumstances. So changes in size by 0, 1 mm lead to the fact that the spinner from the catchy bait turns into a banal mediocrity or even into an ordinary piece of iron. The spinner game (the most important component of catching) is greatly influenced by the material from which it is made. In practice, it often happens that a home-made or “left-handed” spinner plays as it should, and the fish takes it much worse than the original.
Excessive stiffness of the material also leads to an involuntary change in the profile, and we can say, and the departure from the intended form. At a company spinner the composition of the material is strictly verified. Even another brand of brass negatively affects the play of the petal, for example, more lead – weight is changed, etc. The easiest way to distinguish an original from a fake is to put them on the scales. This is how they usually distinguish the “native” Muran from high-quality copies (naturally, lures are taken not only from one model, but also made at about the same time). Violation of the weight ratio leads to a change in the game. So, for example, the petal plays better, and pecks worse. Very often, the petals of high-quality fakes are made of an alloy of brass and aluminum, that is, an alloy of domestic production. As a result, with complete resemblance, another bait is obtained with a dissimilar and unpredictable game.
