No matter how we deny this, but every year there are fewer fish, I won’t go deeper into the reasons, I’ll just have to contrive to catch the one that remains, and taking into account its low activity, only experiments and changes in gear bring results.
Last season I noticed that in pressed places zander very selectively refers to the material of the leash, sometimes even pushing the bait to the background. Yes, fish also came across strings and all kinds of titanium leads, but worse than with a fluocarbon lead.
All this led to the idea of the need to switch to fluocarbon leashes. And just then, during the SPRUT company expanded the assortment of woods and fluocarbon appeared. While Angela’s crimp was waiting, by the way, later I ordered the same from China, made several leashes without using crimp tubes, I simply knitted knots. Of course, I could not wait to test them in battle, everything foreshadowed for this, including the approaching vacation.
First he made leashes, and then he just decided to check the authenticity of the material, suddenly someone will ask, but I myself do not know, although to be honest I was confident in the company – this is not the first year on the market!
The experiment was successful. The material does not burn, only melts under open fire, leaving a black coal after.
Finally, on the water, the first bites, the first gnarls, the fish pecks, the leash is barely noticeable not only in the water, but also in the hands. You can leave the leashes in this form, but I like the beautiful ones more: “esthete and pedant” – the wife laughs. And I'm at home watching a movie, slowly preparing a new batch of leads with crimp tubes.
I decided to make fluocarbon leashes and Dinara, because the last time he had a bite a little less than mine. Summing up the results of fishing for zander, I will definitely say that there are more bites with a leash of fluocarbon than from other materials. The task of checking for invisibility was completed; an equally important task was to check on a pike. Although I do not hide the fact that the risk of biting still remains, especially if the diameter is 0.41, as in my case.
About 7 pikes were caught and at the same time more than one cut, but after some spotted beauties there were burrs and badasses.
But in most cases they appeared not during the fishing of the fish, but during the extraction of the bait from the mouth and when photographing. Many people know that at such moments the pike does not calm down and constantly shakes its head and the leash often gets on your teeth.
With regards to the striped robber, for him, I directly knitted with a cord a knot “carrot” a piece of flucarbon with a diameter of 0.181.
I did not wrap myself up with a measurement of length, I knitted about 30-40 centimeters. In addition to the protective properties of a thin cord from shells and stones, in my case 0.06, the flujcarbon leash remains invisible and thus the striped robber does not feel the catch.
Unfortunately, in addition to perch and sopa, I couldn’t catch another fish, but I’ll definitely continue testing. By all LFH Respectfully Sergey Egoist
