It is no secret that when fishing in a boat, most anglers will not refuse to go fishing. Regardless of the method of main fishing: jig, twitching, jerk or just a float fishing rod when moving from point to point, many will throw tackle on the move in the hope of a passing trophy. I'm not talking about professional trolling players who enter into an unequal battle with trophy zander or salmon in the open spaces of Ladoga or Onega. I also periodically go fishing on a rented boat and use this type of fishing. And for greater comfort and in order not to interfere with the throwing gear, I equipped myself with a set for fishing "on the track." Replenishing the spinning arsenal with the MAXIMUS JAZZ Trolling 802MH lightweight trolling rod up to 25Lb 2.4m long, I installed a free Black Side Guardian 3500 FD reel on it. A feeder reel, with a Power Phantom Water Snake Feeder # 1.2 cord wound and tested with feeders up to 100g, quite suited me for wobblers up to 30g.
It turned out to be quite a working kit and without large additional costs for equipment. An interesting feature of Maximus Jazz is the presence of a lock nut for more reliable mounting of the coil.
Certain baits are used for fishing on the track, first of all, these are deep-sea wobblers with an active game. Fishermen use numerous proven lures, including handmade ones. But the fishing industry does not stand still. For example, there were interesting new items from LureMax.
Even eyes run up from a variety of models and colors of wobblers.
Among the new wobblers, first of all, the runny LureMax ZIF 120F DDR stand out
and fat men LureMax HUSKY 100F DDR diving to a depth of 4.5m.
Interesting colors conquer not only fishermen, but also fish. Especially interesting is their transformation in UV light.
Smaller models also showed themselves well, for example, the LureMax Husky 80F DDR game was to the taste of the perch.
When wiring, the Husky 80 dives up to 3 meters, and at the bus stop it pops up quite briskly.
But besides LureMax wobblers, I liked several models from the Australian manufacturer HALCO. One of them is such a Poltergeist 50F kid, diving 3 meters, but there are more deep-sea options.
One of the main features of Halco lures is the ability to change the depth of the wiring with the replacement of the blade, which is attached with a special mount.
For example, Halco Sorcerer 68 DD + STD weighing 8g has a depth of 2.5-3 + meters
and Halco Sorcerer 90DD + STD weighing 15g deepens to a depth of 3-4 meters.
It is the replacement of the blade here that affects the depth of wobbler diving, except for the diameter and length of the cord release. It is important that Halco wobblers keep the game even with increasing wiring speed.
In addition to deep-sea models, the Halco Sorcerer 90 has an SR + STD option with a diving depth of 0.1 to 3.0 meters, depending on the installed blade. It flies well into the cast and
it can be successfully used in shallow areas along the pike.
There is another interesting model – Halco Laser Pro 160 DD + STD (30g) and Halco Laser Pro 120 DD + STD (20g) with a wiring depth of 1 to 2.5 meters.
The large-sized Laser Pros are especially interesting in the fall, when pike and perch fill their belly before winter and the upcoming spawning.
Laser Pro turned out to be an interesting autumn pike both when fishing on a track and throwing on even wiring.
Autumn fishing is interesting and diverse. Predatory fish are active and have left their summer shelters. Therefore, with an active search for the autumn predator, an ancient method such as fishing on a track, described in detail by L.P.Sabaneyev, helps the fisherman. I wish the fishermen no tail, no scales! And proven reliable gear!
