C Egoist’s on a mountain rivulet

It so happened that I managed to do morning things quickly enough, and I had a lot of free time. The weather outside was warm, calm, and suddenly I spontaneously decided to scout one small rivulet, which I had already noticed quite a while. In general, this is my second trip to the river since the moment of moving, and the first did not bring absolutely any results. That is why I did not expect anything from this trip, although the river was still different.
Noon. Today I took the Maximus Egoist-Z 662UL spinning rod with me for fishing. This spinning already visited me on a huge number of fishing trips, and he had to catch the most diverse sea and freshwater fish, but I still could not experience it for its intended purpose – in stream fishing. It was for these purposes that I originally bought it, but chub and even more so trout fishing was constantly postponed.

In the place where I arrived, the river was, to put it mildly, shallow. In general, the water level is very low, in places there is something similar to "puddles" with depths of 15-20 centimeters, and this did not inspire confidence in me in the outcome of further fishing. Suddenly I saw a flock of some outright small things, and in the end I decided to try to leave the mormyshka in this place. Very brisk bites and captures immediately begin. The fish is interesting, and in some ways it reminded me of micro-chubs, but there were a lot of doubts about this, especially because of the bright fins.

I move on, find the first hole and already decide to catch it with a 1.5-gram oscillator. And here is a miracle – the fish enlarges! And then I began to consider the version that all the same they are chubs, but white-feathers.

The higher I climbed the mountains, the deeper the pits fell. There were a lot of bites, and sales were only 30 percent. All because the small things bite. The size of the bait did not frighten her at all. I caught one chub on a small wobbler.

Constant movements, many movements, you go farther into the depths of the forest and mountains. And the river seems to lure, as nature is becoming more beautiful and more beautiful … Oh, this Caucasus! Another point, throwing under a bush, and in the first seconds of posting a powerful blow occurs and the resistance is significantly stronger than from previous fish, and my Egoist-Z is already included in the work in full. After a minute, the fish is parked, and this is already a good size, there was no doubt that it was a white-chub chub! Great fish and great fight.

Already at this moment I was incredibly happy, since I had long dreamed of catching a chub. Chub fishing attracted me after the first trip for this fish. Yes, then in 3 days I caught only 5 small chubs, but even this was enough to get this fishing … And the realization that fishing with this fish became more accessible for me delighted.

At some point, I realized that it was time to finish fishing, but how to stop when the places became only more wild and beautiful … The bites became larger, the frank trifle bothered less, but more or less large individuals did not come across anymore. Soon, however, he had to finish fishing.

I left about 7 km from the starting point, and there was still a long way ahead in the direction of the highway. Definitely, the intelligence of the rivulet was a success! Finally I got to the chub. And after this fishing, I again caught fire stream fishing, now more and more often I will visit all kinds of rivers. I am glad that there are a lot of them in the Caucasus.
