However, do not forget that even during the ban you can go fishing, but with some restrictions.
What can you go fishing during the ban?
During the spawning ban fishing from the shore is allowed only on:
one float or bottom fishing rod
spinning (no more than two hooks)
feeder (no more than two hooks).
It is important to understand that a double and a tee count as one hook. As for the girders, one fisherman can use no more than five pieces.
Types and sizes of fish prohibited for catch and catch rates
The following rare fish species are listed in the Red Book of the Novosibirsk Region and are prohibited for fishing: Siberian sturgeon, sterlet, nelma, muksun, taimen, lenok, grayling, and female crayfish with caviar.
Forbidden to catch in the Ob reservoir:
zander the size of which is less than 33 cm.
bream less than 25 cm.
cancer – 9 cm.
The length of the fish is determined from the beginning of the snout to the base of the caudal fin, where the scales end. Individuals that do not meet these sizes should be released, causing them the least damage.
But as for the Ob River, there are no restrictions on the size of fish in it. However, to become impudent, and to mow a trifle – nevertheless it is not necessary. This will affect future fishing performance.
And do not forget about the catch standards – no more than 10 kg per fisher per day.
Fish caught in excess of the norm should also be released, while the capture of one specimen, the mass of which exceeds 10 kg, is allowed.
What is the penalty for illegal fishing
Violations of fishing rules are punishable in accordance with Article 8.37 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. It ranges from 2000 p. To 5000 p. for individuals with confiscation of the vessel and gear.
But in addition to it, if you catch a fish, you will have to compensate for the harm caused to aquatic biological resources, and this may turn out to be more serious amounts. In addition, during the spawning period, the amount of the fine is doubled.
Responsibility for poaching is established by the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation in article 256.
Is it possible or not to use the boat during the ban?
According to the rules for using water bodies in the Novosibirsk Region for small vessels, they are declared temporarily closed areas for the spawning period:
