Mowed …

As promised, I wrote a small report on a recent trophy fishing trip.

So. Autumn fine and windy day. The sun is shining, but in the morning it is already chilling so that you want to get into a warm demi-season suit. It was on such a morning that we sailed out to look for our happiness. The reservoir is large, almost unfamiliar, but we are not upset, it is only more interesting, besides, we have a whole day ahead of us in search.

The first hour and a half of searching and we find fish on a vast plateau 5 meters deep. First, flocks of carp began to come across, then stumbled upon linen. Naturally, we try to catch. The first few performances were idle. We try both wobblers and a light jig – silence. We sort out the baits. The water is quite transparent, in theory, the fish should be scared off by bright, flashy colors, but that was not the case. The first fish ate a 4-inch watermelon Ayame, somewhere on the edge of the carp school.

I don’t give it any meaning yet and continue to change baits. Fishing partner Igor, also registers bites only for bright colors, and we begin to believe only in them, putting everything dark aside. A series of 6 pike, a kilogram-one and a half-two, immediately occurs and everything subsides again, as if nothing had happened.

We decide to embark on a search and at the same time see where the exit came from in this particular place, and draw it in detail. It turned out that we found the fish in a relatively small distance from the drop of the aforementioned plateau into an extended channel.

They began to comb this extended dump pointwise, stopping at small schools of fish on the echo sounder, they were clearly defined and easily distinguishable. Sometimes the picture on 9th Tish clearly indicated that a decent predator grazed small flocks of whites or carp spots a little further away, so to speak, watching, but he categorically refused to peck. Instead, standard laces up to one and a half kilograms, no more, slipped through. Periodically trying on the dark silicone, meanwhile, what was caught, we removed it further and further, despite the transparency of the water, we could not achieve a single bite on it. Apparently the fish were in such a mood that day.

After walking about 4-5 kilometers along this edge in half a day and noting for ourselves various depressions in it, places where fish accumulate and various interesting areas, after lunch we decided to turn around and catch in more detail every flock of forage fish found. Oddly enough, the flocks of carp and whites after dinner became even more knocked down and decorated, they were obviously alarmed and did not allow them to live peacefully under water. At depth there was practically no fish, the entire fairway, where we walked and tried, was completely silent. A little later, they began to notice the presence of shepherds in the immediate vicinity of each of the flocks found and, accordingly, tried to catch them on the plateau. Initially using the same 4 inches after a long rinse of one of these feeding points, I finally managed to take the first good fish about 3-4 kg in weight. But after, silence again.

The decision to enlarge came by itself. 6- and 7-inch silks flew into Voda, and this brought the expected results. Those fat fish from the echo sounder finally began to show activity, presenting us with ringing bites and enchanting playing games. So, we moved from one flock to another and took out 1-2 fish from 3-4 kilograms in weight and almost up to 8. All fish were caught from a plateau 4-5 meters deep, she obviously went hunting from a depth in the morning, here we are met her, and then got to the very zhor.

Sometimes, finding another flock with a shepherd, we did not receive a single bite, sometimes it was possible to seduce the predator – in any case, after a long lull, we just moved on and turned around a new area. Towards evening everything calmed down, the number of flocks and shepherds decreased, then massive rattlins were used. From what was with you and most of all, the LC RTO weighing 23 grams in natural colors and the 33 gram LM Hammer of the most acid, all of them are equipped with a lot of rattles and are very noticeable in the water.

Considering that the whole day was caught on the brightest lures, one of the fat predators was finally caught on the last one. Then, almost tearing it off for a flooded anomaly, I had to take it off and continue to fish with large silicone, after all, I’m not so sorry for him.

The day was drawing to a close. The activity gradually subsided, and at the next posting, when Igor was exhausted, something good was noticed. Accustomed to non-small fish, we cheerfully swing it, and the absence of a landing net does not frighten us at all – most of the fish that day, I just got it by the scruff without extra. funds. In general, this time it was not possible to grab the scruff of the neck. The fish made another jerk out of the hand and went on to walk home. Considering that she did not bite honestly, but was spotted from the side, Igor, of course, got it while playing. Rybina did not give up positions for about 5-7 minutes and did not even come up in the boat. Then I had to get her out with lipinfluenza and supporting her massive belly. Fortunately, the grandmother was already exhausted and did not bite off our hands. The scales on lipinfluenza showed a mark of about 10 kilograms, or rather they did not measure it – only torture such a fish – they photographed and released it.

Naturally, they did the same to everyone who was caught that day. Fortunately, there were practically no captures. Such fish should live on and bear offspring, since, I think, quite a lot of representatives of the broodstock have visited our hooks. In any case, the fishing was a success. First, we found the fish ourselves, where no one expected to catch it – one might say in an open field. Secondly – wonderful trophies and more than one visited our boat. Well, the most important thing is great company and the weather – we had a great time, you can’t say otherwise. Friends of all the same flying fishing!
