This fishing became a symbiote of the last two: the company was an experienced angler and we picked up the keys to the fish standing at one point. I must say, they picked it up well :]
It so happened that with Andrei we now live in the same entrance and it is much easier to cooperate on a joint exit. On Sunday, they decided not to leave at dawn, but to leave at 8 in the morning on the city river. Simple, convenient, comfortable. Everything as I like :] Even they didn’t wander along the river, stood right on the beach, where I caught the last time. Perches pecked very weakly, either striped was pretty passive, or someone scared him. The last conjecture was soon confirmed. First, Andryukha's mormyshka was cut off, and then the large toothy completely ceased to be shy and began to drive the fry under the shore. We decided to provoke her to bite. If we don’t catch it, then with a stick and she will leave. And there maybe the striped activates.
But it was not so simple. We did the posting right under the nose of the pike, often she drove the fry right next to the bait, but did not pay attention to it. Of course, it was worth increasing the size. But I only had a micrush box with me, and all 2 "-2.5" baits stayed at home. Changing the wiring did not help either, but we continued the experiments. I decided to try extremely aggressive overweight wiring: very sharp flips and 2.5g cheburashka, although 1g was enough. I used a copy of the javastik as bait, but clad it with a “ridge” across so that the tail played more on tosses.
On the first or second posting I feel a hook, I pull the rod several times, suddenly it’s just grass, and the “hook” flew, shaking my head from side to side. I had to work hard to calm the fish. And nervousness was contraindicated to her. A random turn of the head with an open mouth and goodbye to my thin fluorocarbon leash. Yes, it’s stupid of course to catch a pike without a leash, but lately I haven’t deliberately hunted spotted, so I don’t carry a string with me. Pike spotted extremely well: the corner of his mouth. It was also lucky with the place of fishing, from a steep shore away from the beach to get it without landing would be much more problematic.
Quickly took a picture and let go. After that, in half an hour I caught two more shoelaces for this installation, and then it was time to go home. Nevertheless, Sunday is a day off only in words :]
