In the evening before fishing, I look at the forecast, they promise a little rain, I think that you can go and even more so catch from the boat. I downloaded everything I needed and went to bed. In the morning, breakfast and the lake next to the sand quarry, the sun is shining, in the distance are clouds, everything is fine. Quickly pump up my ship, I collected all the necessary and on the water.
Since the lake is deep, up to 10 meters, I took a working spinning Sprut Renzo 244 ML with a test of up to 21 grams. The coil for this Ryobi Excia 3000 spinning rod with a Sprut Keitaro UL braid of 0.08 mm, since there are very few pikes and its capture is unlikely, I tied a leash from a Sprut Skyline FC fluorocarbon with a diameter of 0.4 mm.
I began to check my work points that I found with an old echo sounder, but now I already have better quality fishing equipment Garmin Striker Plus 7sv. This echo sounder certainly helps to find fish much better, the only thing sometimes is difficult to understand what exactly it is fish. The search tactics were simple, find the desired terrain and if the fishfinder displays an object similar to a fish, I will anchor and try to catch. The coastal eyebrows began to be checked, which happens here and two from 2 to 5 meters, then a flat table and again a brow to 9 meters. Checking for the presence of fish, I saw some kind of object, and it turned out to catch the first lump.
Then he crossed to one large navel, the depth is about 8 meters and the navel has 5.5 meters. Passing the navel peak, I see an object pressed to the bottom on the screen, so you need to check the point. From this belly button, but at the same time changing the setting, I managed to catch a couple of small pike perches and okashka, all the bites were at the highest point before a sharp dump in depth.
I went to the island in the middle of the lake, there seems to be a relief there, but I didn’t see anything in the echo sounder, I left the jig for fun, but there were no bites at all. He swam a bit in search of an interesting relief, and eventually returned back to the navel and caught more perches.
The clouds began to thicken and perhaps the weather forecaster’s prediction about “little rain” would come true, but judging by the clouds, it’s better to leave the reservoir faster. Before he had time to assemble the boat, a squally wind blew out and poured rain as if from a bucket, got wet through.
He waited a little, collected as much as he could, stuffing the boat into the trunk and went to dry home, but the fishing went fine and, in spite of the rain, I am glad that I caught the fish.
