I continue experiments with spinning for catching a chub. This time I went to catch with a soft ultralight up to 5 grams.
I also recently came to a new silicone landing net, I really wanted to try it out in order to be as careful with fish as possible.
The bet was made on the croissants, the places are perfectly familiar, so the result had to be.
During the first three hours of fishing, I saw quite a bit, I caught three small ones on Chip 40mr and on Rogers Surf and Deep.
As it turned out, the main movement was waiting for me at the end of fishing, when the sun came out from behind the clouds, but first things first.
First, after a fallen tree, I notice a flock of chubs in the area of a pound each. I throw them a wobbler, and the whole flock immediately became interested in what was on their heads. As a result, the most insolent jumped at the tee and was caught. Feelings of vyvazhivaniya such fish on the UL completely different! The remaining instances of the alert and went to the depth, but one bite was still, so I decided to stand on the point longer.
At one moment, I saw how, on the same place, a kg asp rose from the depths to 3, and slowly sailed against the current. Immediately I throw a wobbler under his nose, but the tee overlap happened very much at the wrong time and the opportunity was lost.
I go through wobblers. Casting from the 30th I feel a powerful pulling and spinning is bent in an arc. In the thoughts of “oh yes!”, Finally he! But no, it's just a pike and a half kilograms! Suppose it is not very large, but for ultralight it is already a worthy opponent. From the 30th cast from under one kororyka, Karl! In a confined space it was very hard to stop her with the lightest spinning, but I managed. Leading to the shore and pulling a pike into the sand bar, she somehow wound the cord around herself and cut it off. I didn’t want to lose crankbaits (Deep Chip 40), so I made a sharp jerk to the water and jump over nettles and coastal bushes, after which I deftly grabbed it under withers. The new Kosadaka LNFWS silicone landing net didn’t fit slightly, but it was convenient to reanimate.
That's all, NHPC, small rivers in touch!
