In general, today I planned to spend a day on the river in search of a chub, but alas, the weather changed my plans. In the morning I woke up from a severe thunderstorm and heavy rain. And during the day the rain subsided, then intensified again. This outside the window lasted until 2 pm, and I could not even dream of a trip to the river. In general, I thought that the sea would be dirty, but in the evening, looking at webcams from the beach, I found that it was clean, and the waves were not very strong. As a result, a couple of hours after sunset, decide to devote to rock fishing.
Today I decided to scout my one of my favorite breakwaters, which I have not been on for quite some time. And now the first point, the second cast of the Merega Tweezer creature in purple, an aggressive bite, and after hooking I get only half of my bait. Laskir obviously is not asleep. I did not even change the bait and made a cast at the same place. The bite is repeated, and now he is a night carp.
In general, I was not particularly happy with him, I wanted to calmly catch scorpion from the bottom, but nevertheless he was very pleased with the fight on the game. Then I decide to reduce the bait to a less voluminous Merega Traveler Craw crustacean in green and continue to catch other breakwaters. The first one comes across a small horse mackerel, and soon I catch the fish that I was aiming to catch, but its size turned out to be quite small.
Later, just a crucian attack began. There are many bites, crayfish are torn to shreds, but they are not detected at all. I tried to throw them both stretch weaknesses and small vibrating tails, but it seemed that they were only interested in crayfish, and this was not at all to my advantage.
Soon I decide to generally move away from fishing along the bottom and move on to the pelagic. In addition, for horse mackerel, I wanted to try budgetary jigheads Yaman Shar without a neck. These are simple hooked jig heads with a ball-shaped load. I started fishing with a jighead weighing 1.5 grams and a bright pink three-inch worm Merega Next Trap. The fishing of the trajectory along the breakwater immediately began to bring bites and captures.
Having caught a dozen small horse mackerels, I move on. I get to the previously noted breakwater, reduce the weight of the jig head to 1 gram, and also change the bait to the yellow Merega BlockHead worm. And things went much more interesting! At this point, the mackerel size was much larger. Yes, there were no bonus items, but the average size of the fish was very pleasing. Horse mackerel preferred leisurely wiring with aggressive tosses and prolonged pauses.
As for jig heads, I was pleased with them. Excellent casting quality, fairly good hook and a nice price. A simple universal form that will allow you to use a variety of passive baits in the pelagic. On fishing from the bottom of these jigheads, I will definitely experience further fishing.
Fishing in general was successful. Yes, the caresses thinned my crayfish arsenal a little, but I caught the horse mackerel well at the last point.
